A ministry built on love.
Embrace A Child Foundation was born out of a deep compassion for the most vulnerable. Across Uganda, countless children face the harsh realities of street life, orphanhood, and neglect. Our mission is simple but profound: to rescue these children, place them in safe Love Families, and disciple them in the ways of God.
We envision a future where no child is left to survive on their own. Instead, they are equipped to grow, thrive, and eventually give back to their own communities.
The Love Families model.
We know that institutions cannot replace the warmth of a home. That is why our approach is entirely family-centered. When a child is rescued, they are placed with close relatives, pastors, or trusted friends within our network — ensuring they grow up in a nurturing environment where they are truly seen and known.
Within these homes, children receive nutritious meals, medical care, clothing, education, and the emotional and spiritual guidance to build a foundation of faith and character.
Equipping for the future.
Survival is only the first step. Through our Individual Follow-up and Mentorship (IFAM) program, we prepare children for adulthood. Small groups receive personal guidance from adult mentors and advanced peers, learning practical skills like farming, baking, tailoring, and crafts — so they step into the world with confidence and purpose.
